Cloud Sales Strategy 101 for Oracle

Oracle’s stock price took a dive after it announced fiscal Q4 revenues on June 20, 2013, largely because of slower than expected revenue growth. Greater competition from other cloud application vendors has been blamed; however, Oracle’s greatest competitor is itself. Although Oracle has solid cloud technology and its cloud branding is evolving, what it’s missing is a solid cloud sales strategy.
