The challenges of integration continue to bear directly on the usability of technology from vendors in the Workforce Management (WFM) Value Matrix. With the Affordable Care Act (ACA) now in effect, these challenges are apt to result in the form of fines and penalties. That’s because, in WFM, too many data sets behind the user interface (UI) can be a clear and present danger to compliance. Vendors that innovate their solutions best – to conquer the data leviathan and, thus, help their users successfully field increasingly complex employment law – will remain Leaders next time.
