Manhattan augments IBMi demand and inventory solutions

Manhattan Associates has boosted the functionality of its IBMi Replenishment and Demand Forecasting application as part of the vendor’s ongoing commitment to ensure that its inventory and planning solutions can support omnichannel commerce. As part of its “Commerce Ready Enterprise” strategy that Manhattan has been promoting, the vendor has been building out its solutions to support retailers and manufacturers who are selling products both in traditional stores and online. Although the improvements are welcome news to users, Manhattan needs to figure out how to persuade its IBMi set of customers to accept cloud-based solutions so future enhancements can be rolled out more quickly.
