Manhattan releases version 2016.0 for IO
Manhattan Associates’ continued focus on omnichannel has driven enhancements in its 2016.0 releases of Open Systems and IBMi inventory solutions, including the development of one new feature that can reduce out-of-stock store inventory on promoted items by at least 2 percent. The new functionality in the Open Systems release allows supply chain planners to assess the impact of promotions on inventory and make commensurate stock adjustments to improve on-the-shelf availability. Nucleus believes that this functionality can reduce out-of-stock inventory on promoted items from 10 to 8 percent.
