Nucleus Research, a leading global provider of IT research and advisory services, is now accepting nominations for its sixth annual Technology ROI Awards.

The awards recognize those end-user organizations that have deployed the most successful IT implementations to deliver positive financial and business results. Nucleus Research carefully assesses the costs and business benefits of technology deployments for each applicant to quantify each project’s ROI over a three-year period. Awards are given to the top ten IT implementations showing the most value per dollar spent.

"ROI is the forensics of technology assessment and the single most important measure to justify value on IT investments," said Ian Campbell, CEO of Nucleus Reseach. "Past winners demonstrate compelling case-study examples of how organizations can make wise technology decisions and see multiple returns on investment."

The 2008 winners include: American Lung Association using Sage Software; BaySystems using ACT! By Sage Software; Bigelow Tea using Digitech Systems; Colorado Department of Revenue using RightNow Technologies; DirecTV using Antenna Software and Oracle; IBM using SAS; NASA using Vignette; Ryder Integrated Logistics using Salesforce.com; Shop.org using Mall Networks; and Truckee Meadows Community College using SPSS.

To be eligible, applicants must have annual corporate revenue of at least $50 million and be headquartered in the United States. Qualified projects also must have been installed and in operation for at least one year from the date of submission. Award recipients are honored with a unique handcrafted ROI Awards boomerang as an acknowledgement of their ability to deliver significant value to their organization.

A nomination form and additional information about requirements can be found at ROIAwards.com. Nominations are due by March 2, 2009. Winners will be announced in June 2009.
