Rapid7 unveils new automation features

On September 20th, Rapid7 announced new security automation and orchestration (SAO) capabilities available through its Insight platform. This new functionality will be integrated into the existing InsightIDR and InsightVM solutions, offering pre-built, use-case specific automation workflows. In addition, Rapid7 will offer InsightConnect, a new standalone product, offering customizable orchestration and automation with over 240 integrations. The new automation and orchestration capabilities from Rapid7 allow the end user to set the specific human involvement requirements that an organization requires, meaning that even the most cautious cybersecurity personnel can now take full advantage of automation. In addition, pre-built workflows mean users can take full advantage without have to spend the time and money of writing code for each application.
