Alexa is open for business

Alexa for Business is not the solution of six months ago (s71 – Alexa is not ready for business – April 2018). Alexa for Business was originally deployed for simple task management rather than as a valuable business tool. Today, Alexa for Business’ integrates with core business applications and enables users to access database information in real-time for either visual display or voice responses. C-suite execs are no longer looking at Alexa as a consumer novelty item with limited enterprise value but rather as a business tool that can deliver improved efficiencies and productivity. Alexa for Business’s increased functionality enables users to interact with technology via more than 50,000 Alexa skills, as well as the ability to produce customized skills with the Alexa Skill Kit and business APIs for integration with core third-party applications.
