BlackLine delivers consistent returns
Nucleus analyzed the total costs and benefits of BlackLine deployments from 2011 to 2020, spanning multiple industries and business sizes. We found a strong linear relationship between the costs and benefits variables with no point of diminishing returns from technology investments within a three-year period, ranging from $200,000 to $2.5M. As deployment costs increase over time, BlackLine has consistently expanded its value proposition with product updates to improve functionality and connectors to expand its user base and drive automation. We also drilled into case studies from 2018 to 2020 to investigate the value BlackLine delivers to customers today. We found virtually identical results, indicating that BlackLine’s customers continue to reap the same level of benefits as they adopt cloud technology and transition to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.
