Sophos acquires Refactr
Sophos, a provider of cybersecurity solutions, recently announced its acquisition of DevSecOps automation vendor, Refactr. This move is part of Sophos’ ongoing plan to expand its cybersecurity ecosystem and provide a more comprehensive solution to customers. The recent acquisitions of Refactr and Braintrace (Nucleus Research v127 – Sophos acquires Braintrace – July 2021) reflect the demand for a holistic end-to-end solution, which adds Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) to its Managed Threat Response (MTR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) capabilities. Sophos is planning to roll out its upgraded offering by early 2022.
