Cornerstone corners the TM market
Cornerstone has announced plans to acquire talent management software provider, SumTotal from Skillsoft. The agreement is expected to close in the second half of this year and follows the recent acquisition of learning platform, EdCast. In the talent management market, differentiation between a few leading vendors has steadily diminished, creating the need to stay ahead through the acquisition of smaller competitors. Nucleus expects Cornerstone’s increasingly acquisitive market performance to bolster its leadership in the talent management space, especially as organizations shift focus more towards employee development and retention.
