Cloudera releases SaaS data lakehouse
On August 17th, 2022, Cloudera launched the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) One, its new data lakehouse-as-a-service (LaaS). CDP One is a serverless offering with compute and storage fully managed by Cloudera. Customers adopting CDP One can expect up to 38 percent reduced administrative costs relative to legacy solutions. Looking ahead over the next year, Nucleus expects Cloudera to expand its customer base and establish itself as an attractive alternative to other data lake offerings, especially for customers prioritizing deployment flexibility.
