Salesforce expands vertical approach

Salesforce’s launch of Automotive Cloud brings industry-specific CRM capabilities to automakers, dealers, automotive finance groups, and their customers. Nucleus found that opting for vertical solutions over custom configurations can accelerate implementation time-to-value by 40 to 60 percent. Salesforce has consistently led the CRM market in functionality but has been hindered by the complexity of the setup and maintenance of its base solution. Nucleus expects that Salesforce’s continued addition of Industry Cloud products will secure the vendor’s market share and leadership by simplifying deployment and adoption and increasing value for customers.
