Employers of all sizes are considering AI’s potential impact on hiring metrics such as time to fill, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction. However, it is not entirely clear as to who is successfully implementing newer AI technologies and driving a positive, tangible impact on the candidate experience. Nucleus surveyed jobseekers to understand what AI-powered, candidate-facing tools are being used today and examine their impact on the candidate experience. While most respondents felt positive about AI’s bearing on their candidacy, 76 percent reported having dropped out of a hiring process due to the overuse of AI. Moving forward, the ability to strike a careful balance between AI tools that drive value and human touch where necessary will be crucial to recruiting success.
