Cloud migration returns $3.43 for every dollar spent
While there are high-cost barriers and security concerns over any cloud migration, Nucleus believes the move is well-justified. Companies that transition applications to a cloud environment benefit from cost savings, increases to business agility, and new solution capabilities and services enabled by the cloud architecture. We investigated companies that migrated their on-premises solutions to a cloud version under the same vendor to determine the cloud’s value. Analyzing case studies from the past three years, we found that, in aggregate, companies recouped $3.43 for every dollar invested in the project.
