Content Management features driving selection and ROI
Nucleus surveyed both prospective and recent buyers of content management solutions to identify the primary factors that drove their software selection and found customers are primarily concerned with capture and accessibility, followed closely by automation, integration with core business solutions, cyber-security protection, and analytics and reporting. A similar survey in 2017 found that cyber-security protection was the most critical feature required when choosing content management software, with additional consideration to ease of use and reporting capabilities. This swing of priorities is due in part to the transition for buying decisions from the information technology department to the office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
