Improving decisions and reporting with IBM Cognos FSR

IBM Cognos Financial Statement Reporting (FSR) is used by companies to automate the creation of financial statements and internal reports. Nucleus found the application enabled companies to increase the productivity of the finance department and report builders in non-finance roles. Better decision making was also a benefit. Many of the IBM Cognos FSR customers examined by Nucleus increased revenues or reduced costs by providing decision makers with timely and accurate accounting data. Goal alignment was a third benefit. By governing management reporting from the finance department, companies gave senior management and CFOs control over strategic decision making and more visibility.
