Microsoft and Siemens announce Copilot partnership

On October 31st, 2023, Microsoft and Siemens announced an expansion to their partnership, introducing the Siemens Industrial Copilot as well as launching an integration between Siemens PLM software Teamcenter and Microsoft Teams. Nucleus anticipates benefits including increased code generation and troubleshooting efficiency, enhanced data control and privacy, and improved collaboration and accessibility. Nucleus has previously found that Copilot can reduce the duration of certain tasks by 10 to 40 percent and render eight to 20 percent of labor costs automatable areas over the next ten years.
