Puppet Labs throws hat into software defined storage ring

The company’s entry into these new spaces is backed by some of the most successful companies in technology including Google, Kleiner Perkins, and VMware. Their support of a small open source software company shows the game has changed and no vendor’s future, not matter how well established, is secure. Customers should recognize the opportunity this creates in negotiations with new and existing suppliers.
