Qlik and Talend unite for data warehouse modernization

Following Qlik’s announcement of its intent to acquire Talend, Nucleus interviewed both vendors’ customers to ascertain the potential value of this combination under Thoma Bravo. Customers adopted Qlik or Talend alongside data warehouse modernization initiatives with Snowflake and reported benefits, including 4x faster data ingestion and replication and annual direct cost savings of $145,000 and $550,000, respectively. As the two vendors become increasingly integrated, Nucleus expects increased adoption of Qlik Data Integration and Qlik Sense, particularly among customers shifting to modern cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
