SCP solutions reduce inventory levels by 24%
Nucleus interviewed 68 supply chain planning professionals who migrated to a dedicated Supply Chain Planning (SCP) solution. We found that SCP solutions notably reduce inventory levels, with a mean improvement of 24 percent, leading to lower inventory holding costs and the release of tied-up capital. Users typically reported inventory holding reductions between 18 and 30 percent. Other associated benefits include a three percent improvement in fill rates and a 97 percent on-time in-full (OTIF) service-level.
