SugarCon update

At SugarCRM’s user conference, the company announced plans for additional investments in innovation in marketing, sales, and service – as well as cloud infrastructure – with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI). That is not different from the plans of most customer relationship management (CRM) leaders. As SugarCRM looks to grow its brand presence and competitiveness against larger CRM players, it is at a critical point in its evolution. Leveraging and marketing its strengths – cost effectiveness, developer ease, expertise, and investment in individual customer success – goes against the grain of most current CRM market noise, but gives SugarCRM an opportunity to disrupt the market and cement its place as an alternative CRM market leader.
