The do’s and don’ts of Gen Z recruiting
Nucleus surveyed more than 60 respondents between 18 and 24 to evaluate several recruiting software features and their performance among Gen Z candidates. Key survey findings indicate that some of these new tools have solved problems such as poor communication, candidate “ghosting,” and off-putting job descriptions. However, Nucleus found that broad automation throughout recruiting and hiring processes can discourage applicants. As employers face difficulty successfully recruiting high-quality Gen Z candidates, they must reassess their hiring technology infrastructure and decipher what is alienating consumer-minded, tech-savvy prospects.
